I engaged Josephine to conduct workplace assessments for around 70 staff in our Wellington business in January 2014. Being a technology company, staff spend many hours at their desks working on keyboards. For years I have suffered with lower back pain, only to recently discover 2 of my lower discs have started to deteriorate. Through Josephine’s guidance in revisiting my workstation set up, going from a sitting to standing desk I’ve noticed several changes, all for the better. To start with my back pain has eased considerably as I’m able to take pressure off it and actually lengthen my spine by standing. I have less shoulder and neck pain as well as no more OOS by having my equipment set at the right angles and distance. I feel more engaged in conversations with people both in person and over the phone. I’m also able to rest as and when I need to by sitting at the architect style chair recommended, but to wake myself I just stand up and immediately feel more switched on.
Josephine continues to take a vested interest in my wellbeing and has been dedicated to ensuring what I had was right for me. I would highly recommend Josephine any day of the week as her passion and enthusiasm will help get you on track to feeling better every day.
